For not being on the water this place still has great "Florida" atmosphere. Very friendly staff, with prompt service at the bar. Great beer menu, and domestic bottles at $3 all day every day doesn't hurt. Food was OK. My grilled grouper tacos needed some lemon and mayo to take away the fishy taste, but my husband said his blackened grouper tacos were just fine. We will visit again.

Cool spot for locals if your wanting a fun laid back neighborhood bar spot. They seem to do quite well as every time I pass they are crowded. The inside is quite large and they have a nice sized covered patio area that is fig friendly.

Plenty of tv's to watch games with many beer bucket specials. They offer a full bar. The food menu is consistent with most bar food. Hamburgers, wraps, salads, wings and more.

Service was decent. The food quality of I'm being honest was below average. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak with fries. The hoagie bread tasted stale. The meat was flavorless and fatty and the fries were almost cold when served. It was as if they sat to long.

If your just wanting to hangout watch a game or just enjoy some domestic beer at reasonable prices then I can see it would be an ok spot. As far as the food they lost me here.

The food is decent when they have what you want it's even better.  A few times I've ordered items off the menu only to have the waitress return saying it's unavailable.  Once she even indicated the cook as not in a good mood, haha.  Also, when a friend has asked for something as simple as a condiment not to be put on their sandwich I can't understand the ensuing drama on the part of the staff.
The service whilst very friendly is lacking.
There is a large parking lot as it's located in the Surfside Plaza.  On certain days (Tuesday) it can be a hassle due to the Farmers Market.
    There is outdoor seating available.
It's not a bad place just not great.  Idk why but there location in St. James City is better ...

Ok the food was hot. Service is good. the decor reminds each of old Florida.

I had the build your own burger. The burger was perfectly cooked. Had blue cheese and onion on top.

I was taken back when they literally charge you for every topping.

So if you want lettuce and tomato they charge you two topping.

I can understand if some of the topping like extra cheese or something you charged extra.  But every topping.

So the food was ok but if you want a great burger be prepared to pay for simple topping like tomato and onions.

For me not worth the price to be overcharged for a simple burger.

    I won't be back.

Woodys Closed last year it was well deserved as they were failing at every level. Poor Food, Service, and just bad. I was looking forward to someone taking over what should be a killer location but to my disbelief they reopened a short time later. Well today I decided to stop in and check it out for lunch. They had about 4 tables with customers not a good sign. We waited about 5 minutes for someone to come over and finally a guy showed up took our drink order and then we never saw him again until n fact after 15 minutes nobody ever came back. We got up and left and we will never be back. If I owned this place I would fire the entire staff. People try you and ur staff kills you.
I can't wait for you to close again hopefully this time for good!!!
